There was a fight at school and my daughter’s adult tooth got knocked out.  My dentist had a family emergency and I am not sure what to do.

You want to get her to a dentist as quickly as possible. Call a pediatric dentist in your area, tell them your situation, and see who can get her in right away.

You also want to clean the tooth and keep it moist.  Only clean the crown part, not the root. Then put it in a glass of milk and take them to the dentist you found.  Time is an important factor here.
