I had a dental procedure done. I did some searching and found the dentist who does the procedure for the least amount of money. He was more than $1000 cheaper. But, what I thought would save me money has ended up costing me a fortune. I’ve had two infections, the materials have broken more than once. I’ve had to miss work. It’s been a disaster. In fact, It’s cost me more than the amount of money I’ve “saved”. I don’t really have a question, I just wanted to warn your readers. I’ve had to go back to him 7 times to fix this one procedure. Cheap isn’t a good idea.

Braden,
You have made an excellent point. Unfortunately, you’re not the first and you won’t be the last person to suffer the consequences of that same type of mistake.
There is a big difference between a cheap dentist and an affordable dentist. An affordable dentist finds other, more ethical, ways to save you money.
I’d strongly recommend you stop going to this dentist to “fix” his work. He’s obviously not good at what he’s doing. You’d be better off going to a dentist who costs a little more, but does quality work. At least then you could stop going back for the same procedure.
