I had some pain and sensitivity to hot after a root canal. I called my dentist and he thought there might be another canal to get. He re-treated it and there was. He fixed that up, but now I’m really sore and can’t bite down very well. There isn’t any heat sensitivity. Do you think I need ANOTHER treatment?

No, I think in this second case it is just a matter of normal post-operative sensitivity. It isn’t uncommon for dentists to miss a canal during a root canal treatment. Each tooth is different and some canals can be very difficult to find.
Pain to hot or cold would indicate the possibility of another canal. The pain your describing seems normal to me.
